Compatible with all our binding screws from 7 mm length, these binding screw extensions can increase the capacity / thread of your screw post binding to create the capacity you need, without buying longer screws than the ones you might already have.
Easily increase the maximum capacity of your screw post binding
Simply screw the extension into the post on the one side and the screw into the extension on the other.
The extensions will increase the maximum capacity of your screw post binding by 10 mm. For example, a single 10 mm extension will increase a 7 mm screw post set to 17 mm maximum capacity. Perfect if you need a custom size length that isn't readily available.
As the extension won't be visible in the finished product, it can be combined with our copper or brass binding screws.

Each sheet of paper has two pages - a front and a back. So a 100-page document (printed double-sided) equals 50 sheets. The screw length refers to the inner post height between the caps, which determines how many sheets fit. If you only know the page count, use our Spine Width Calculator to estimate the correct length.
