Metal Discs & Magnets

Which one you need depends on which part isn't magnetic.

The surface isn't magnetic (wood, plastic, aluminium, a non-magnetic fridge door): use metal discs. They are galvanised steel, not magnets, and give your magnets something to hold to.

The item isn't magnetic (a laminated sign, notice or poster going on a whiteboard or steel surface): use magnetic squares on the back of the item.

Neither is magnetic: put a disc on one and a square on the other, for a fixing you can remove and reattach.
